Congratulations to the 6 HKU Law student finalists in this year's Law Reform Essay Competition organised by the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong. The topic was 'The legal doctrines of maintenance and champerty, developed some 700 years ago, still apply to most litigation in Hong Kong.
